Stress, health and pain management with mindfulness.
breathworks was founded in 2004 by Vidyamala Burch and two colleagues in the UK. The 8-week course helps you to act and live more consciously with the help of breath awareness, light movement exercises and meditations.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, or MBSR for short, refers to a globally standardized 8-week training program for cultivating mindfulness in everyday life. MBSR was developed in 1970 by Jon Kabat-Zinn for the health care system and combines traditional wisdom, elements of psychology and modern neuroscientific findings. Also, I offer complementary Long COVID support through specific mindfulness.
- Once a week, two and a half hour sessions for eight weeks
- An additional "Day of Mindfulness"

Workshops: Focus, Serenity and Resilience at Work
The workshops focus on mindfulness in everyday life. Impulses, videos, group exercises and different types of meditation will alternate. The following topics will be addressed:

Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Cancer
MBCT-Cancer ist eine speziell für Menschen mit Krebs angepasste Form der achtsamkeitsbasierten kognitiven Therapie (MBCT). Das 8-wöchige Gruppenprogramm unterstützt dabei, Stress zu reduzieren, emotionale Belastungen zu lindern und die Lebensqualität während Behandlung und Nachsorge zu stärken. Durch Achtsamkeitsübungen, kognitive Techniken und Psychoedukation lernen Teilnehmende, belastende Gedankenmuster zu erkennen und einen gelasseneren Umgang mit Symptomen wie Fatigue, Schmerzen, Angst oder Grübeln zu entwickeln.
- Gruppensitzungen über 8 Wochen jeweils 2 Stunden pro Sitzung, sowie einen halben Praxistag
- Achtsamkeitsübungen (Body-Scan, Atemmeditation, Gehmeditation)
